Vifa D26NC-67-06 1″ Dome Tweeter 6 Ohm (Similar to Vifa D26NC55)
We have acquired a small stock of the Vifa D26NC67-06 1″ Soft Dome Tweeter, which is very similar to the popular and well respected D26NC55-06. Our tests (see note 1) show the D26NC67-06 to be slightly more efficient than the D26NC55, and the D26NC67-06 does not go out quite as high, measuring smoothly to 22 kHz instead of nearly 30kHz. The curve, if anything, looks better (smoother / no sign of the D26NC55′ slight 8 kHz dip measured by some reviewers.) To us, this seems like a pretty good tradeoff! The faceplate, magnet structure, and heat sink appear to be identical to recent D26NC55′s, and we are not so sure these are simply not an OEM version for the company who appears to have originally been their destination.
The Tymphany specification sheet on the D26NC55-06 is here:

Notes:
1) Our mic rolls off a bit on the extreme top end, so our 22 kHz figure may be a little conservative.
2) Lowest recommended crossover for full power handling = 4.5 kHz, 18 dB / octave min. slope. This unit has std. single strand lead out wires, ie., NOT tinsel leads, and is therefor not a good choice for lower frequency or slower slope crossovers. (This is true for the D26NC55-06, D26NC15-06, D26NC67-06, and all similar Vifa models that we know of.)
