PR Audio

Send us your speaker and audio equipment photos!

We have great idea (we think!) to assist others with identifying speakers and parts therein, and to provide general information.   Please send us pictures of your speaker systems, drivers, crossovers, etc.  Speaker systems with original drivers in them (even if a little damaged) are especially useful, as are good pictures of crossovers, or crossover schematics.  If your speakers have non-original drivers in them, please indicate that, too.  Grilles off, generally, of course!  Please include in text form as much information as possible.  Manuals and manufacturers’ drawings are great too, though if items are current, it is best to simply provide a link back to the manufacturer’s posting of such (if the link exists) – we don’t want to infringe on anyone’s copyright.

Pictures of upgrades and modifications to speakers or audio gear are very welcome too:  If we get a lot of these, we will probably set up a separate area on the website for them.

We will build up an archive of these images and post all the information we can.  Please Contact Us for the e-mail address to send pictures to — we will probably set up a separate e-mail account solely for this purpose.   Try to get good pictures of course, so we can maintain the “visual quality” of our website.  Ideal image sizes are usually about 1024 pixels wide, or, if the image is “tall”, about 900 pixels tall.  File sizes in the range of 100kB to 400kB, resized from cameras taking photos of 3 megapixels or more, are usually about right.  (We can resize and crop pics of course, so, if you don’t have a good image editor, that is ok.  Send us what you can.  But, please don’t bury us with dozens of multi-megabyte images.)

As we can, we will start taking pictures and adding photos of speaker systems we see here are PR Audio, too.  (We wish we’d thought of this sooner – we could start off with a “bang”!)

If you would like credit for your pictures we will publish such with them.  If you wish to stay fully anonymous, or semi-anonymous (“Pics by Kurt V. in Austria”, for example), just let us know that, too.

If you have more ideas along this line, please let us know.  This project should be very useful to a lot of people, and a lot of fun, too!

Thanks in advance to everyone,
Paul & Cielo
