This is an original Genesis concave phenolic dome tweeter, as used in their Model II speaker (and possibly others.)  As can be seen on the rear of the unit, it was made in 1980.  We have had this unit in storage for many years, thinking someone would come along with a Model II with a tweeter out, but no one has, so we are putting this one up for sale. 

 We do not have a lot of specifications on this unit, other than it’s impedance, DC resistance, and the fact that it seems to work fine.  If you wish to purchase it and have a frequency response curve run at 0°, 15° , and 30°, please add $5 to the purchase price.

 
Features:

Original Genesis Model II tweeter.

Manufactured in 1980.

Concave dome construction, dome diameter = ~0.92″.

Voice coil diameter = ~ 0.75″.

Faceplate is square, ABS material, approx. 4.87″ x 4.87″.

Magnet is square, approx. 3.05″ x 3.05″.

Mounting depth =  approx. 0.75″

Impedance = 6-8 ohms (in operating range.)

DC Resistance = 5.4 ohms.

The positive terminal is on the “G” side of the tweeter; we have marked it with a white dot on the magnet.
