PR1C9SD-HE1, High Efficiency 1″ Soft Dome Tweeter
Nice, high efficiency, 1″ soft dome tweeter with full shielding, ferrofluid, a damping dome behind the diaphragm, and tinsel leads. Low diffraction faceplate (no protruding screws) with lense for excellent dispersion, smooth response and good efficiency. Slightly modified by PR Audio, for lower distortion.

Sensitivity = 94 dB / 2.83v / 1meter (on axis).
Impedance: 8 ohm.
Power handling / recommended crossover:
50 watts / 2.5 kHz / 18 dB/octave.
75 watts / 3.5 kHz / 18 dB/octave.
120 watts / 5.0 kHz / 18 dB/octave.
Outer diameter = 4.00″.
Mounting Pattern = 4 x 0.17″ holes equally spaced (90°) on a 3 1/2″ diameter bolt circle.
Hole cut required = 2.94″ minimum - 3″ exact (maximum recommended), plus a small notch (see drawing below). If cutting a new hole, a 3″ hole saw should work well.
Mounting Depth = 1 5/8″.

Note that the above units were surface mounted: Flush mounting would smooth out the ripples above 5 kHz. Matched pairs are normally curved at 15º off axis for the most “realistic” results. Contact us if you have a different requirement.
