We have for sale one piece of the original Polk Audio SL2000 silver wire voice coil 1″ soft polymer dome tweeter.  Per the pictures, this is the clear polymer dome tweeter used in the Polk Model 10, and, I believe, some other models, also.  This unit is lightly used and in excellent condition:  The original owner swapped these out for high end Audax tweeters that I sold him back when I was just out of college, and I have had this unit it in storage ever since, in case anyone ever came along needing one.  Well, no one has, so, we’ve decided to make this one a little more “publicly” available.

 Please, we would like this unit to go to an individual who has a Polk Model 10 (or similar) and who needs an exact replacement for a tweeter that has gone bad.  The price is $25.  If you would like a curve on it, add US$10.00.  Due to the unit’s age, we cannot offer our usual warranty, however, we will do a final operational test (sweep) on it before it ships out.

Available specs:

Dome diameter = 1″ / 25.4mm (not including the surround.)

Dome material = clear soft polymer.

Voice coil 1″ / 25.4mm diameter, silver wire.

Impedance = 8 ohm, DCR = 6.53 ohms.

Magnet diameter =   2.83″ / 72mm

Manufactured by Polk Audio in the USA, Jan. 9, 1989.

Faceplate = 3.36″ h X 4.61″ w /  85.3mm h X 117.1mm w

Terminals =   0.125″ / 3.18mm push-on (never soldered to)
