The Jamo 20300 is a very nice 1-inch soft dome tweeter with a rounded, sculpted, rectangular face plate.  This form factor helps reduce diffraction effects, leading to a smooth response even when surface mounted.  Tinsel leads and ferrofluid cooling improve power handling.  This tweeter does not have a low enough Fs for really low 2-way crossovers, however, it is a great choice to upgrade or replace many of the old ADS / Braun, Audax, Peerless and Polk Audio rectangular faceplate tweeters in their 2-way applications, and is extremely good in most any 3-way application requiring a clean, smooth sounding tweeter with average efficiency.  It does not have a boosted top octave, like the Peerless and Polk Audio tweeters did, but, with the improved power handling, a slight boost of the treble control, if desired, is certainly practical.
