HiVi F10 woofer (More info. here.)

We recently came across a distributor closing out HiVi (Swans) products, and were able to get a good deal on some of their remaining inventory.  Pictured are a couple of the early arrivals.  We will get individual pages and pricing up as soon as posible.  Once they are up, act quickly:  Some quantities are very limited.

HiVi X1 tweeter:  46 pcs. left in stock:  1/$15.00 ea.; 2/$28; 2 pairs or more, $26/pr.  (If ordering an odd number, the 1st unit must be at the $15.00 price.)  Matched pairs, +/- 1 dB, 2.5kHz – 18kHz, $40.00/pr.  This is a high quality 1″ soft dome tweeter.  4 ohm impedance.  Each unit is individually checked for proper operation by PR Audio, and for a limited time, we will match 1 pair per customer at no additional cost.  (Note, at the above pricing, multiple sets are as follows: units 1 & 2 (of pair A) will be matched to +/- 1 dB, 2.5kHz – 18kHz, units 3 and 4 (pair B) will be closely matched to +/- 1 dB, 2.5kHz – 18kHz, and so on.  Pairs B, or additional single unit will be within +/- 2 dB of Pair A.  (An “odd” additional matched unit, +/- 2 dB, 2.5kHz – 18kHz, to the rest of the group, is $20.)  This pricing for matched units is good up to 5 pieces.  As the quantity goes up, the “group matching” becomes more work, so if you need more than 5 units matched as a group as just described, please contact us with your requirements to request pricing.

Note:  A well known website published a very poor review of this tweeter, with their tests showing considerable distortion and impedance curve issues.  Somewhat in dismay, since we came across that review just after aquiring our stock, we immediately tested ours:  To our relief, our tests of several units all looked fine, with normal looking response curves, impedance curves and distortion results.  We can only assume that the reviewer, as he speculated, somehow obtained a pair of defective units, and / or that HiVi saw his review and corrected the problem!  Since we are curving all these to obtain as many matched pairs as possible, we can assure you that every one we sell has undergone both operational checks AND has been curved by our lab, where any significant problems would show up.  If any do, those units will get fixed or go in the trash!  We are pretty picky about such things!  So far though, all have been fine / perform well.

HiVi TM1 Tweeter-Midrange module:   Only 6 pcs. left, 2 are blems, sold only in pairs:  2/$56.00; The blems are 2/$50.00.  (The blems work fine, but would be best in a location where not readily visible.)  Description:  Very cool shallow mount unit with superb performance: Excellent for car audio systems if you have a good location to mount them.  Each unit is individually checked for proper operation by PR Audio.  Swan’s TM1 spec sheet is here, and a link to more info. on Swan’s site is here.
