Garden of the Gods, in Southern Illinois, along with Pounds Hollow Lake, has become a favorite place for us to go take a break, this summer.  It’s not too far away (under 1-1/2 hours driving time), and hiking there first, and then cooling off with a swim at Pounds Hollow, makes for a great time!  A gallery of mostly 1024 pixel wide pics is below, or, if you are on a faster connection, click here for our page with a gallery of full size images.
