Electro-Voice / University Sound 1824M Horn Midrange Driver

This is a very nice, heavy duty, made in the USA, screw-on horn midrange driver. It has a std. 1-3/8″x 18 threaded mount, 2″high temperature voice coil, and (depending on the horn used) response from 400-6000 Hz.

Note that the University Sound power rating is a little less than the EV rating, presumably because a different and wider range test signal is used by University Sound. In real life, properly crossed over, these are quite rugged drivers and can handle brief peaks to nearly 400 watts.

We do not think this unit was ever put into service: The only markings on the terminals that we can find are the ones we made when we tested the unit. Due to the age of the unit, we cannot offer our usual guarantee, but, we will of course guarantee no DOA (!) and do another operational test (sweep) just before shipping the unit.
